May 4th 2006: DoGav Systems has been authorized by Freescale as a third-party partner for its new Open QUICC Engine technology program. This enables DoGav Systems to offer microcode customizing services to Freescale's QUICC Engine customers.

The Open QUICC Engine technology program enables developers to:

Customize Freescale microcode that runs on QUICC Engine technology to support a wide range of industry-standard communications interfaces and protocols.

Implement new application-specific functions in microcode without having to add ASIC or FPGA devices to their applications.

Turn QUICC Engine technology-based devices into multicore engines.

Transform application ideas into software optimized for QUICC Engine technology.

In addition to its customization services, DoGav System offers over 30 off-the-shelf microcode products for the PowerQUICC I, PowerQUICC II and PowerQUICC III.
